Brady took his first trip to one of Michigan's largest tourist traps this weekend. We have had ferry tickets sitting around for a few years, they where left over from a trip. We somehow left the island, without setting foot in a fudge shop and only going into one gift shop.
Instead of spending the day wandering from fudge shop to fudge shop, we decided to take a walk across the island. We walked past the Governor's House and Fort Mackinac on our way to Arch Rock. On way back to the downtown area, we stopped at the island cemetery.
Before we left the Island we had a late lunch at one of the Grand Hotel's Restaurants. A brewery in Michigan, makes a special beer just for the Grand Hotel. We couldn't leave the island without having one.
